I stayed 3 nights and would definitely go back when visiting Morocco. The hotel staff was very professional and wonderfully helpful.

The place was simply stunning and lovely small and the staff were very professional, the location was top very close to the centre of the city. All the services were very good! Location: the hotel was next to the best restaurants and center.

Incredible location in the Ourika valley was a plus. Besides, it was close enough to the restaurant and such a lovely setting, Jardin Majorelle and Medina, other sights, shopping and Hivernage restaurants.

We had a peaceful stay, enjoyed our room, and plan to return; the great location and top-class staff were definite highlights.

Great Riad, built about 100 years ago by a French Lady. 8 guest rooms. One of them is a perfect 2-bedroom family suite. All in a Moroccan/French atmosphere. From the hotel it is about a 15 minutes walk to the old city of Marrakesh. Very friendly and knowledgeable hotel staff. They have great suggestions for lunch and dinners.

Marrakesh is a crazy city with endless souks, noise, exotic spice smells and bustle of the main square. The Red House, by comparison is a santuary of comfort and relaxation, with attentive staff, a heated pool in a relaxing garden of Palms and Cacti, a top class restaurant and luxury rooms. Our stay was extended by 3 days due to volcanic ash flight cancellations, we were able to keep our room.

small hotel with good moroccan decor, beautiful well-kept garden and swimming pool; good-sized suites, friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast served where you like - room, garden or restaurant.
two things we didn't like - one, the restaurant was overpriced for basic moroccan fare and second, location - although only two minutes from the walls of the medina, the hotel is a good 20 minutes walk from the nearest main tourist area, the walk is pleasant but after a day walking around the medina feels a bit of a chore.

We visited Marrakech for 4 days at the end of June 2011 and we had a lovely time. The city felt safe and relaxed and the hotel was a lovely place to come back to each day. The staff were excellent and helped us with directions and information about the city. The 'Princess Double Room' was very good, a perfect size and style for couples. The hotel is a easy walk into the old or new town (though it is very hot in the early afternoon) and it suitably out of the hustle and bustle of the city centres. We walked around the souks and palaces in the day time and ate out in the evenings so we can't comment on how good the restaurant was, although it looked very good. I would recommend the city and this hotel to couples who want a few days away in a very warm country!

This place is just brilliant. Stayed 3 nights in a royal suite, room was enormous/beautiful. Staff are what make it though, couldnt be anymore helpful but never intrusive, the perfect balance. Breakfast is a feast, nothing less. Nice swimming pool. Perfectly situated for me, just 10/15 mins to souks/square and 5 mins the other way to hivernage bars etc. I could write so much more. The main reason I havent written this review for a week or two is that I thought I may have been getting a bit carried away after a lovely weekend away, however I still think its probably the nicest place I've ever stayed in. I encourage you to go.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
